Everything depicted on this site began as a simple curiosity – a desire to try something new, and a deep need for hobbies that have meaning, that create something in a world that seems out to destroy itself.
I know that world well. My career in emergency services has exposed me to many of the worst parts of humanity. On the other side of the coin, I have seen some of the greatest love that people have to offer. Many of the arts, crafts, and hobbies depicted here began as practical exercises – painting for stress management, writing for reports, programming for data analysis. But each of them has grown in ways that I could not have imagined, and that is why I want to share them with you.
